Using three different reference photos from my files, 

I found inspiration for this latest painting 

"Poppies"

I started with a liquid acrylic underpainting

on Wallis Belgian Mist Sanded Paper

before working with the pastels.

The reference photos are from three local gardens....

top left - Owen Rose Gardens

top right - Schreiner's Iris Gardens

bottom - Swan Island Dahlias

What a JOY it is to start

 2014
